DST-INSPIRE CAMP - 2018 at Punjab University

Nine students of JPDAV PUBLIC SCHOOL were selected for 5 day DST INTERNSHIP SCIENCE CAMP sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The camp was organized by Punjab university from March -27 to April 31, 2018. Our students got once in lifetime opportunity to interact with eminent scientists, researchers, professors and scholars from various institutes and universities of high repute. Students were exposed to HANDS-ON practical in various departments of university like Department of Zoology, Anthropology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Forensic Science, Pharmacy, U.I.E.T. and many more. The student got aware of many techniques in biotechnology, forensic sciences, chemistry etc. Students were able to quench their curiosity by asking questions on various fields from scientists and professors. Scientists not only inspired the students but also counseled and guided for various opportunities in the field of science and technology. This made the students aware of different career opportunities they can choose from, once they are upfront with their college or university life.
